1. Introduction to Calculus

Calculus is the branch of mathematics that deals with rates of change and accumulation. It includes differentiation and integration, which are widely used in scientific calculations.

Differentiation is the process of finding the rate of change of one quantity with respect to another. It is used to determine slopes, maxima and minima, and rates.
